For Friskies at AnimeNYC, we gave visitors a novel experience that stood out among the rest.
Attendees had the chance to have a custom trading card made from an image of their own cat, as well as enter for the chance to win an exclusive and custom comic book, poster and figurine based on their cat.
Besides these custom takeaways, there was also a vending machine full of Friskies branded blind box prizes.

The exterior of the space features design nods to both cats and comics, with the faux comic shop window, cat topiaries flanking the entrance as well as overall shapes, colors + patterns pulled from the friskies brand.

upon entering the space, you are greeted with a cat tree displaying the prizes that are available if you enter the sweeps along with the Friskies branded consolation prizes.

in the back of the space, attendees used these customized Polycade machines to upload photos of their cats, select the comic style they wish to transform their cat into from the poster wall on the right and behind the scenes, an AI trained on real artists’ work created a completely unique and personalized trading card of their cat in that style.

on the opposite wall is a display with examples of each prize customized to a specific cat, accompanied by photographs of the cats used in each, along with their owners.

after some behind-the-scenes magic, their fully custom trading card of their very own cat is passed through the slot at the prizing wall card pick up.

On their way out, attendees have the opportunity to use this vending machine full of blind boxes with a Friskies branded keychain, enamel pins and various product samples.
